Grapefruit Martini

Madge looks like a well oiled machine, and by well oiled I mean she likes a cocktail. After days of anger management Madge told me a story of her family living in seclusion in Cuba. She recalled Castro's mistress Lina and her mother drinking pitchers of Grapefruit Martinis; spinning tales of their husbands overthrowing the world. To this day Madge can't have grapefruit juice without a hand-rolled Cuban cigar.

Main Alcohol: Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, and Dry Vermouth (optional)

Ingredients: 1 oz Gin, 1 oz Elderflower Liqueur, 1/2 oz of Rose's Lime juice, 1 oz of grapefruit juice, splash of Dry Vermouth and grapefruit garnish (optional)

Preparation: Take martini glass and add splash of Dry Vermouth, swish and swirl Vermouth in glass to coat. For that extra POP squeeze small wedge of grapefruit into Vermouth lined coated glass and set aside. In 1/2 ice filled cocktail shaker add Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Rose's lime and grapefruit juice. Shake for 20 seconds and pour into prepared Martini glass.

Enjoy!
