Dry Martini

God knows that Madge and Bisket loves them's some gin, and those broads are never without a martini in their claws. Martinis consist of gin, vermouth (a botanically infused wine originally from Turin, Italy in the 18th century) and citrus rind or olive garnish. A simple drink that has been a staple of the drunken elite since the 1920's.

Main Alcohol: Gin

Ingredients: 1/2 oz (1 part) Dry vermouth, 3 oz (6 parts) Gin

Preparation: Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well. Strain in chilled martini cocktail glass. Squeeze oil from lemon peel onto the drink, or garnish with olive.
